Lee, That was a great video that sure brought back a lot of fun memories! You can't really embed the video on this site because of the copyright restrictions from the original site, but this was a perfect way to share it! If you find videos on YouTube, you can add those to our site. I kept looking for the Beetle bug, but I guess it wasn't exactly a "hotrod." :-) I don't remember going to drag strips but I sure do remember the trips up and down Central, stopping off at Bob's Big Boy for a hamburger and milkshake. :-) I never had a car in high school or college, but I do remember riding in lots of cars (often cars that actually belonged to our parents). Did anyone snuggle up to a favorite beau and do the shifting for them? I did. :-) This video reminded me of so many things--A&W root beers, drive-in movies, Route 66 Burma-shave commercials, and much more. Hope everyone checks it out and shares their favorite memory. Thanks for posting it!
