Arcadia High School Glory Years

Arcadia Glory Years 1960-1963 High School Reunion

Do you think we should start thinking about a reunion for 2013. My thought was that it would be the 50th year reunion for the class of '63. But invite and let everyone know who attended Arcadia during the three years preceding our graduation, classes of '60, '61 and '62, and the three years following our graduation, '64, '65 and '66. The six classes that were with us at some point in time during our (1963) four years at Arcadia.

We could call it Glory Years II or the Old Timers sit and stare gathering.

With the new Alumni directory we might have an easier time contacting people.

Just a thought, let me know what your thoughts

Charles, I think this sounds like a wonderful idea. I like Glory Years II for the name. As you know, I have one of those new Alumni Directories. I’ll be happy to search for people. We should probably break up the list so we’re not all working on the same list and then maybe switch lists at some point. Let me know what you want me to work on. Dianne

I agree. Glory Years II is a wonderful idea.
I'm semi-retired these days so I have more time at the computer to do stuff. Also, I'm in California and can, if necessary, use shoe leather and gas (ouch!) to find people for a more personal invitation. :-)
One thing, though, it's so hard for me to think ahead five years. :-)
Wisecracks aside, I like the idea. I had a great time at Glory Years I.

I think this is a great idea and we need to do it soon before I forget all of my memories. I'm so glad we have this site to capture memories to help us all remember. :-) 2013 seems so far away but having worked on the last reunion, I know it takes quite awhile to organize, communicate and prepare for a reunion. I'd be happy to help with anything. Being on the planning team is a fantastic experience because you get to spend face-to-face time with old friends from Arcadia. I like Glory Years II or maybe "Glory Years Revisited"?? I definitely like the idea of including Glory Years in the title.
