Lee Shaw made an excellent suggestion for us to include this information on the site. I hope you will add information to this list as you become aware of it so we can keep it as current as possible. I will also add a section for Arcadia faculty and administration and begin to gather that information as soon as I can track it down.
This list does not include all deceased classmates and faculty. The list began with those we knew of as of 2003 and has been updated with new information that is being submitted. If you know of others that should be added please add a post to this discussion and I will add them to the appropriate list.

Hello Arcadia Glory Years friends,
I am writing to share some very sad news with all of you. I just learned of the passing of someone very special to all of us, Charles Emery. Charles has been the "glue" that has held so many of us together over all of these years both via email and on this web site. When I created this website I didn't want to be the only person who could moderate it, and I invited Charles to join me as a co-administrator. He jumped right in and actively started contributing and supporting all of us. I will never forget all of our great times in chorus and drama at Arcadia and singing in the All State Choir together! He will be deeply missed! Following is the email message I received from his wonderful wife, Ludmila, with the obituary information. You will appreciate reading all of the memories on his guest book and will see how many people loved and treasured him.

****************
Charles passed away on June 7th peacefully at his home with me on his side. He was cremated and buried next to his Mother on the 28th of June at the Oakland Cemetery in St. Paul, MN.
Ludmila Kirsanova (Emery)
P.S. Following is his obituary:
Charles A. Emery, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Columbus, Ohio with his wife and brother by his side, June 7, 2012. Charles was born January 29, 1945 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the oldest of four children.
As a youngster living in Winnetka, Illinois he studied the violin and sang in the boy's choir of the Episcopal Christ Church. This kindled his life-long love of music. Charles' family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1958 where he attended Arcadia High School. While in high school he sang in the Glee Club and participated in drama productions. He was a member of the Phoenix Orpheus Choir and toured Europe with these choristers.
After graduating from high school he attended Arizona State University and became interested with film and was employed with the Art Theater Guild. Charles managed art theaters all over the US and eventually managed a theater in Columbus where he settled.
While in Columbus, Charles was honorably discharged from the Ohio National Guard and studied at the Columbus Police Academy. He worked as an Auxiliary Police Officer for 13 years before moving into the Communications department for the Columbus Police Department. While working with the Columbus P.D., Charles was instrumental in the designing of one of the first 911 computer systems.
Charles was considered the patriarch of his family and extended family in Canada, Scotland and Russia, keeping the genealogy records. Family was most important to him. He had many interests, including choir singing and flying his airplane after receiving his pilot's license.
Charles enjoyed traveling all over the world, and it was on one such trip to Saint Petersburg, Russia, where he met his beloved wife, Ludmila.
Charles was a very passionate, generous, empathic and responsible man. He was always concerned for those less fortunate than himself, and very sensitive to animals. Charles was an outgoing, likeable and loyal friend. Although Charles lived with many physical challenges, he enjoyed following golf and tennis. He was greatly looking forward to the 2012 London Olympics. In his later years, Charles became a keen enthusiast and supporter of the Libera Boy's Choir of Britain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Caryl and Sally Emery and by his nephew, Nathan Emery, Charles will be missed by his loving wife of 15 years, Ludmila; brother Lee (June) Emery, British Columbia, sisters Gretchen Emery (Yuma, Arizona) and Sally Emery (Pahoa, Hawaii); many nieces and nephews, including Daniel Emery and his family; Colin, Caron and Stuart and sister-in-law, Irina Kirsanova and her family (St. Petersburg, Russia).
Funeral services will be held at a later date in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where his urn will be placed next to his mother in Oakland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles' name to the James Cancer Clinic at Wexner Medical Center at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Chapel (614) 939-4558. To share memories of Charles, visit http://www.schoedinger.com/obituaries/Charles-Emery4/ To read the special memories from others keep clicking on the more button at the bottom of the page.
Just wanted to mention that William K Daley, class of '62 died in 1972. He was a captain in the USAF. I am guessing it must of been something to do with Viet Nam. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
Michael Evans class of 1962
My memory is failing, but I remember a Bill Daley at ASU in ROTC. He started out in my pilot training class (68H) at Williams. He transferred to Navigator training at Mather & I heard that he was an F-4 WSO. I have heard nothing since. Could this be the same guy? I can't seem to remember him from Arcadia, so we may not have had any classes together.
I just learned from his wife Bev, that my good friend Chuck Kessler (63) passed away yesterday at Scottsdale Shea Hospital. Chuck retired from the Phoenix Police Department and was living many years in Crown King, Arizona. He lost his battle with colon cancer. Chuck and I remained in contact since high school. He will be missed. Jim Gillard (63)
Thank you so much, Jim, for sharing this information with us! I feel so sad every time I learn that we have lost another classmate! It's wonderful that you have kept in contact with him ever since high school!
Peggy
For those in the Phoenix area who knew Chuck Kessler, there will be a Celebration of Life for him at the FOP Lodge, 19th Ave and Sweetwater at 1 pm on March 1, 2014
Thanks for this update, Jim! I really appreciate your letting us know about our classmates and especially those whom we didn't have on our database list above. I'll add the most recent ones you have shared. We often don't hear about the services until after they are over so this is really timely information.
I recently posted info about the passing of Douglas Griffith, class of 1961. I was recently informed that Robert (Bob) Lutes, class of 1960, passed away 4/7/14. Doug Hilker
With frequent contact with her relatives and seeing her again at events, I recently learned Carol Nielson from my class of 63 passed away a couple of years ago. This was confirmed by cousins close to her. Today, on Bob Beal's (62) facebook page, there were "rest in peace wishes". I hope it is in error. I see Bob all the time in Tucson. He is a fun guy.
Thanks for your updates Jim! It's hard to learn about the passing of our Arcadia friends if people don't share it here since many no longer live in the valley. Let us know if you are able to confirm the information about Bob Beal.
